Wonderful Classic Home faces South Fountain & Small Pond attracts Birds Lovely Landscaped Fenced Yard with Patio, Deck & Fountain
Built as a one-story brick bungalow in 1920, this sturdy home was competely gutted & remodeled, including tearing off the attic/roof & adding a beautiful, new second story. In this photo, you can see  all the way to the rear yard's arbor. This is a close-up of the rear deck, yard & small patio. The stone pond features a fountain where birds love to bath & play. All of the sidewalks around the home, and the garage apron are new. This photo is taken facing southeast; you can see the glass doors leading to the large kitchen/family room, the decking, arbor & part of the patio/yard.  This is the view one sees from the kitchen/family room.

View of North Side of Kitchen from mid-level of the stairway to the second floor Island facing rear patio doors West Wall of Kitchen
Kitchen Island measures 9' by over 5'! It houses a 30 bottle wine cooler, shelves for cookbooks, dishwasher, a drawer containing 3 trash cans for recycling & trash cans, & kitchen utility drawers. View to the northeast corner of the kitchen/family room. There's a spot for everything is this chef's kitchen!  At the left side of the photo, you can see the door to the walk-in pantry, a picture of part of this pantry is shown below.

Southwest corner of Kitchen Powder Room adjacent to Kitchen/Family room Living Room Gas Fireplace
In this photo, you can see through into the pantry, and to the left of the doorway, notice the built-in cork bulletin board, a handy feature.

A pretty powder room with faux painting,  and some built-in shelves & an arched nook.
It's lovely how the original layout of the classic bungalow has been maintained through the renovation, yet today's needs for media centers & technology are met. The position of the fireplace, bookshelves & the two high side windows are historically correct. Within the shelving, you'll find wires for cable, whole house speakers, etc.

View down the stairway 14' by 9' Sitting Room Master Bathroom
This solid oak stairway has natural light flowing in from the skylight above, but features incandescent light. Notice the small nook inset where we've placed a picture, and the contrasting cherry stain on the handrail. We are calling this a sitting room, but the original architects planned it as an open office space. The necessary outlets & jacks are all in place.  The doorway seen to the back is the entry to the master bedroom. In this photo, you can admire the bright & cheerful master bathroom. With custom granite-topped maple cabinets, high & wide window above the mirror, the twin medicine cabinets to either side of the main mirror, you'll enjoy this every day.
